What Is Essential Housing?

Essential Housing is for individuals in all industries and positions to have the ability to find attainable housing. Please review the information about the program included below prior to submitting an application.

A limited number of essential housing units are available for voucher holders through City of Rosenberg Housing Authority.  

Are You A Qualified Applicant?

Any applicant or household living in one of these apartment homes can earn up to the following annual incomes. Please use the below guidelines to identify homes that best fit your approved income limit.

How Do You Apply?

To apply for the Hanover Lakemont Essential Housing Program, we ask that you present the following documents:

  • Completed application for every household member 18 years of age and older
  • Income verification documents (see notes below)
  • 2 years of resident or rental verification, if applicable
  • Additional documents may be required depending on each person's individual income and assets

Income Qualifications

Income qualification is based on gross annual income.  Please see below for information on acceptable forms of proof of income:

  1. Pay stubs from most recent four-week period 
  2. Tax returns from the most recent two tax years
  3. Additional methods available*
